If you’re worried about your masculinity…look at (male) metalheads, lol. They have some of the longest hair and they’re some of the most masculine dudes you’ll probably ever meet.
Note that masculinity isn’t tied into being a douchebag, as some metalheads tend to be.
This is somewhat off-topic, but I’ve only ever met one metalhead that was a douchebag and I know a metric tonne of metalheads.
More on topic: Metalhead dudes are hot. Not just, “Oh, well I guess this is a nice warm blanket.” kind of hot but moreso, “Ohgodohgodohgod where did my face go?!” hot. At least for the most part. In my eyes. xD.
